We can help you with transferring your accounts from your current advisor to eliminate the awkwardness of informing of your move.

Onboarding


1. Initial meetings to find, if we are mutually a good fit

Initial meetings to determine if we are a good fit. We can meet in person or virtually, to assess fit. We will get to know your investment goals and explain our investment philosophy and process.


We can meet again for second meeting and go over your current financial statements, and answer any questions you have about the options present. During this process we might ask you to fill out a client risk profile/questionnaire.

2. We will work on creating proposal(s) for you

We will build proposal(s) specifically constructed to suit your own needs, while considering your risk tolerance and time horizon. Proposal(s) will include historic returns, best returns and worst returns in any given period. We will present it to you by email and follow up with a virtual meeting.

3. Paperwork to sign you up as a Lotusment client

We will finalize Investment Policy Statement/proposal(s) and fill out the necessary paperwork to get you officially signed on as a Lotusment client. This can be done virtually with electronic documentation. We will help you with opening up an account and transferring your asset, or setting up funding.


Ongoing Investment Advice


As a client, you will have access to a financial planning software called Orion Planning, which has the ability to aggregate almost any account. This provides you with a single login to your account, from which you can review any and all of your financial accounts. This aggregation will create an organized space which can help simplify your life.

We will monitor and review your investments at regular intervals by meeting at least once a year for annual review. We answer any questions you may have along the way and offer guidance and reassurance during turbulent times. Additional counsel is provided as needed or requested.


We can also help you set up dollar-cost-averaging plans to invest your extra cash flow along the way.


We want you to feel safe in the knowledge that your hard earned money is being well taken care of.


How We Get Paid


We charge a percentage of assets based on your account value. All fees are shown and are very transparent. There are no hidden charges.

As a fiduciary we are legally obligated to always place your best interests above ours. Our interests are aligned with yours, meaning that the more money we make for you, the more money we earn.

All checks are made payable to your custodian (Charles Schwab / Fidelity /TD Ameritrade / Pershing / Interactive Brokers) and we never take custody of any client assets.
